Using blogs
I am extremely new to all this blogging stuff and don't know how people can do this all the time. I mean in between balancing families with full time careers, with graduate school, with whatever life throws at you, how can one find time. In a study group a few weeks ago I asked my colleagues what they think will happen when the first generation of "digital natives" have to balance the issues I mentioned above. Did they think they will keep up their blogs? They thought people would but the other past times such as reading books will be replaced or be not as popular. I just don't know how I feel about that....yet.

Well Sandy, I feel the same way as you. My family always comes first I don't spend enough time talking on the phone or visiting my friends, I know for myself it would take a lot of effort to just sit at my computer and blog, blog, blog!

I agree that this is time consuming, but I think it is just the initial learning curve and things will taper off after awhile.
I feel very fortunate to have taken this class before I actually become a teacher so I have time to incorporate it into the crazy balancing act that is my life,BEFORE I have to tackle all the other new things associated with teaching - like managing students, writing lessons, etc...
